Calle Rasmusson’s debut album “One” is released on Prophone/Naxos Jazz on September 8. I’m very happy to play on a few tracks and also to have two of my own songs featured! They are beautifully arranged for orchestra and jazz trio by Calle. Me, Calle and bass player Kristian Lind play with the marvelous Dalasinfoniettan.
Mostly the album is comprised of Calle Rasmusson’s own fantastic original music. Drummer/composer/arranger Calle Rasmusson is mostly known for his arranging work for the world renowned, Grammy awarded Metropole Orkest, and is also a highly respected jazz drummer. This is his first album as a leader.
